Ok so not a photo taken by me, but I went to see the movie Julie and Julia. It was a really good movie. One of the best I have seen in a while. Now I don't think I will by the book which I was planning to as it has a lot of curse words according to the author. There was only 1 that I detected in the movie. I'm not sure why one needs to put it in films. I don't get the whole gotta curse for the sake of doing it as the English language is colorful enough, I would think you could come up with a word to express yourself. But the movie was delightful in its own rights. If you get the chance to see it, do it is worth it. Unfortunately I couldn't post the movie trailer, but you can see it if you search for it.

Presenting the NJ art group
Its been a while. Five of us have joined together and under Jim's co-ordination have formed the beginnings of the NJ art group. http://njag.yolasite.com/. Gathered together in Flemington were Jim, Celeste and I on a Thursday night in the park in town. 2 of the members are missing. We have only been at it for a few weeks so hopefully it will grow. It is surprising that people don't know what plein air painting is. Tonight we were in Clinton. The people strolling by with their ice cream and iced coffee, were pleased to see painters out on the street. I will keep you updated as things progress.

Charge
Took this video of cows making a beline for the feeding trough. I thought it would be an appropriate introduction for my pictures of England as soon as I get a chance to start posting them. it was a wonderful trip beautiful countryside and this was my thoughts on the charge to get there minus the airline delays which is another story altogether. I wasn't ready for the charge home which happened all too soon. BOO HOO.
Blogger should have some emotes to add to the blog posts just for humor. If they are out there someone let me know.

Girl scout right of passage.
Abby and her friends took part in a move up ceremony. She now can call herself a Cadet girl scout. I remember my short time as a girl scout. It is nice to see that the traditions are still alive in this day and age, when kids seem to grow up so fast. Times are different now. Kids are so much more sophisticated and worldly. It is good to see tradition still alive even for a short period of time.

Mothers day and day out on tuesday
Mothers day Rick and I were invited to a church of his friend. He is a lovely old Polish gentleman who loves to celebrate with his friends. He sponsors a huge Christmas party every year for children of like just everyone he knows. It is the biggest free bash I have ever attended. He got his church to hold a mothers day celebration. I wish I had taken my camera inside the church. The stained glass windows were a celebration of history and I suppose Polish history since it is a polish church. Every panel had a different picture and there must have been 50 panes per wall. There were two walls covered with pictures. Totally awesome. Now I love grave yards. There is something so peaceful and quiet about them. The two statues I didnt get up close. I wanna take another trip there one day
